Ott Tänak will not continue with Hyundai after the season ends. He announced it on his Twitter account.
– This is a personal decision that I have made at the end of a long consideration, Tänak announced.
– I am at a stage in my career where I want to take on a new challenge.
Tänak has driven for Hyundai in the 2020–22 seasons. He won the world championship with Toyota in the 2019 season.
In this season’s point statistics, Tänak is second. He plans to drive in the season-ending rally in Japan with a Hyundai.
