Organizations sign Drenthe Regional Plan: ‘Large-scale investment in health’

Healthcare and welfare organizations, municipalities, the province of Drenthe and health insurer Zilveren Kruis want to jointly tackle healthcare in Drenthe. By signing the Drenthe Regional Plan, they want to ensure that residents of the province continue to receive good, affordable and accessible care in the future.

The plan was drawn up together with residents and includes ambitions, goals and solutions. The most important tasks that the various organizations want to focus on are a network approach, a strong social basis, a healthy living environment, innovations and transformations, a future-proof labor market and accessible care. They do this under the name Gezonde Marke.

Jan Broekema, councilor in Assen, is happy with the collaboration: “We have to do a lot of work to keep healthcare in Drenthe easy to find, good and affordable. We are going to invest on a large scale in the health of all our residents, together with healthcare parties and health insurers. , welfare organizations and municipalities.”
