Orbán remains leader of Fidesz after heavy election defeat: “Time for a younger generation”

Despite the heavy election defeat in April, Viktor Orbán remains at the helm of the Hungarian right-wing nationalist party Fidesz. At a party conference in Budapest on Saturday, almost all delegates agreed to a new one-year mandate for the former prime minister. There were no opposing candidates.
