Remko Pasveer made his debut for the Netherlands on Thursday evening at the age of 38 years, ten months and 14 days. In the Nations League away game in Poland, the goalkeeper from Ajax Amsterdam was in the starting XI and kept a 2-0 clean sheet. This made Pasveer the second oldest debutant in the history of the “Elftal”, only keeper Sander Boschker was older when he made his debut in June 2010.
