We lived in Toronto and flew back to Canada after the holidays. At the check-in desk at Schiphol we suddenly received the message that our flight had been canceled due to heavy snowfall in Canada. We had just returned our rental car, what now? Ground staff were very helpful. We were taken back to our children in a shiny limousine. The driver’s answer to the question whether he drove more stranded passengers: “No, I only drive management, sometimes also ordinary people.”
