Nowadays you have potatoes in the supermarket that you can put in the microwave with packaging and all. That seemed very handy to me, it saves an extra pan. My friend was not convinced that this product innovation could be delicious. A long discussion followed, I pulled the longest and the new potatoes disappeared triumphantly in the basket. When we walked to the cash register, he suddenly threw in a last, waterproof argument not to do it: “We have no microwave at all.”
