We recently visited the New Year’s version of our local Philharmonic Orchestra. With the help of sponsors they had managed to catch the opera singer Anna Majchrzak and bariton Tom Jansen for that evening. What did we enjoy and the icing on the cake was the duet of both The Phantom of the Operathe beautiful ‘All I Ask of You’.
The next day I tell this to my son on which he summarizes very laconically: “Oh, you went to a cover band!”
