We held an anthology of the best poets from Drenthe in the church in Zweeloo. I asked my granddaughter (10) if she would like to come too. After I told her that Van Gogh had painted that church, she decided to come along. When she arrived at the church, she looked around critically: “Well, that Van Gogh could come and paint again. The paint is flaking off quite a bit.”
