I (60 years old) are talking about botox with a colleague in his early 30s. She says that she and many other younger colleagues regularly “do Botox” in various places on their faces. I answer that she has material injected into her body, the long-term consequences of which are not yet known, that silicone breast prostheses have also proven disastrous, that she is beautiful, very young and does not need this at all. When at the end of my sermon I sigh, “If I were to do it….” she exclaims: “you’re already way too late!”
