Open Vld wants to return 203 million euros in Flemish taxes, “because the Flemish government passes the cash register twice”

The Flemish government is cashing out thanks to high inflation. This is partly because the Flemish taxes on cars, homes and inheritances are also linked to the index. For example, the Flemish government can easily profit from our rising lifespan, says coalition party Open Vld. “We want to return that extra tax money to the Flemish in 2023.”
