Only one in eighty employees with a company car exchanges it for a mobility budget

Only one in eighty employees with a company car has exchanged that car for a mobility budget. This emerged on Monday from an analysis by SD Worx of more than 36,000 employers and more than 1.1 million employees. The share of employees with a mobility budget will almost double in 2022, from 0.10 percent in 2021 to 0.18 percent, but will therefore remain limited. With the federal mobility budget, employees exchange their car for a budget, which they use to organize their own sustainable mobility. For the time being, only white-collar workers with a company car are eligible.
