One of Sweden’s most wanted drug traffickers who was hiding in Premià de Dalt has been arrested

He was one of the most wanted criminals in Sweden to such an extent that when the Mossos d’Esquadra Four police officers managed to arrest him. The Catalan agents together with four Swedish compatriots searched the suspect’s luxury home in Premià de Dalt and found various mobile phones, hard drives and computer equipment which is being analyzed by Swedish police investigators, as it may contain relevant data for the case being followed in that country. There was also 6,500 euros in cash.

The National Court ordered the suspect’s imprisonment pending extradition to Sweden. The Mossos emphasize the importance of international collaboration to fight against drug trafficking since organized gangs operate in several countries and know no borders.
