In Italian dealerships there is space for the latest model of the Chinese brand Omoda & Jaecoo. With the new Super Hybrid technology it has a total power of 279 HP and a total range of over 1,200 km. Two trim levels available: Pure and Premium
For Omoda & Jaecoo the time has come for the debut of a new model on the Italian market: in fact it is the launch in our country of Omoda 7 Shs-Por the new plug-in hybrid crossover from the group’s Chinese brand Chery. With a distinctive design and intelligent technology on board, the vehicle adopts the Super Hybrid System of the new generation, presented last September at an event in Milan. This plug-in hybrid crossover has a gasoline engine combined with two electric units for a total output of 279 HP (205 kW) and an autonomy of over 1,200 km. The debut of the Omoda 7 Shs-P in Italian dealerships thus also strengthens the presence of the Omoda & Jaecoo brand in our country, with the Chery group intending to increasingly bring European market an advanced, global and accessible mobility for a perfect balance between technology, design and sustainability. There are two versions available on the Italian market: the basic version Purestarting from 38,900 eurosand that Premiumlisted instead at 41,900 euros.

The new plug-in hybrid crossover by Omoda & Jaecoo thus arrives in Italy with the basic setup Purewhich offers complete and technological equipment, suitable to guarantee comfort, safety and connectivity. As standard we find 19″ alloy wheels on the outside, roof rails and full LED headlights both front and rear. The model is long 4,660 mmwide 1,875 mm and tall 1,670 mmwith a step of 2,720 mm and for a curb weight of 1,945 kg. Inside the passenger compartment we have a trunk with a volume from 537 to 1,371 litres, a 15″ sliding central display6 for infotainment, an 8″9 digital instrument panel, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone automatic climate control, fabric and eco-leather upholstery, heated front seats and steering wheel, 50 Watt wireless smartphone charging and seven airbags. There’s also a whole package of 19 Adas systems driving assistance with adaptive cruise control, active lane keeping, automatic emergency braking and blind spot monitoring with 540° panoramic camera. The version Premiumlisted at 3 thousand euros more of the base Pureinstead adds 20″ alloy wheels, head-up display, panoramic roof, eco-leather interior, extended multicolor ambient light, Sony premium audio system and electric tailgate. For maximum technology and comfort, there is also a Premium Pro Packoptional at the price of 1,500 euros, including automatic and remote parking assistance, massage function for the front seats and extendable leg support for the front passenger.

This new Omoda 7 Shs-P thus adopts the new Super Hybrid System technology. Under the hood there is therefore an engine petrol 1.5 Tgdi Miller cycle 143 HP (105 kW) combined with two electric units: a 204 HP (150 kW) traction unit and an 82 HP (60 kW) dedicated to recharging the battery in Lithium-Iron-Phosphate with a capacity of 18.4 kWh. The overall power of the system thus becomes 279 HP (205 kW) with 365 Nm of total torque. Good performance and low consumption (just 2.3 l/100 km in the WLTP cycle), with a 60-litre petrol tank and an overall range that can exceed 1,200 km with a full tank of petrol and a charged battery. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is in 8.4 secondswhile the maximum speed is 180 km/h. In mode 100% electrica range of 128 km in the WLTP cycle can be achieved by traveling in the city. With direct current the charge goes from 30 to 80% in just a few seconds 20 minutesfor a maximum charging power of 6.6 kWh with alternating current and 40 kWh with direct current. The Dht150 gearbox allows the system to fluidly manage power delivery, guaranteeing optimal driving in all conditions. The color palette of this Omoda 7 Shs-P includes paints metallic and matt combined with black interiors. As standard, in the set-up Pureis proposed in the clear Khaki Whitebut wanting with 700 euros more you can choose the elegant black color Carbon Crystal Black. There is also no shortage of bright silver Moonlight Silver and the intense green Emerald Greenhowever only available on Premium. Finally, still on this setup, a 1,200 euros more we also find the opaque Matte Soft Grey.
