The suspect and a sixteen-year-old co-defendant previously had a conflict with Jordy’s sister. They saw each other on a terrace in the center of Rosmalen, which again led to an argument.
Press officer Janine Kramer of the Public Prosecution Service: ,,We are prosecuting her for murder of Jordy, but also for two assaults. Both Jordy’s sister and his girlfriend reported assault. Shortly before Jordy’s death, they would have been beaten by the suspect in an argument outside the terrace. This is confirmed by several witnesses.”
Kramer speaks of a “very aggressive atmosphere” in the run-up to the incident. Jordy, witnesses and the suspect had a part in this. “This is confirmed by several witnesses,” Kramer said. The Public Prosecution Service also had a lot of footage of the incident.
After investigation, the Public Prosecution Service states that Jordy came to the girl who had a knife in her hand with which Jordy was hit. The OM thinks she acted out of emergency and had no intention of killing Jordy. Nevertheless, in view of the seriousness of the situation and for the relatives of the victim, the Public Prosecution Service wants to submit this to the court.
