The Olympic silver medalist, who was disqualified in the mixed competition because her suit was too big, got stuck at the security check during a stopover on her return journey.
Missed connecting flight, medal box smeared

30-hour return journey
“Somehow things are not going so well for me with the inspectors,” wrote Althaus, who was happy about a happy ending: After 30 hours of return travel, she arrived safely and with a medal back home.
