In February, Lucas Braathen won Olympic gold in the giant slalom. The Brazilian is now already planning his upcoming training sessions.
Lucas Braathen will change his training routine. Outside the ski and snow season, the Olympic champion will train in Brazil. According to “Blick”, the 25-year-old’s girlfriend, Isadora Cruz, recently revealed this in an interview on Brazilian television.
Both were able to convince coach Braathens to “move his training to Brazil outside of the ski and snow season.” The Brazilian actress is therefore happy: “Lucas will stay here with me from April to August.”
Otherwise the two will be in a long-distance relationship. While Cruz lives in Brazil, Braathen has his main residence in Austria. The 28-year-old described the long-distance relationship as a daily challenge, “but when you have someone whose dreams and ambitions are as big as yours, it becomes easier.”
It is precisely then that there is an understanding of each other’s sacrifices and “you are very happy about each other’s successes.” And Braathen’s recent performance was extreme, as the ski racer won Brazil’s first ever gold medal at the Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
He was subsequently honored in Brazil. Among other things, with a certificate stating that his achievement “inspires future generations to believe that no border is insurmountable.”
Although Cruz now commented on the two’s private lives, she also emphasized in the interview that they would “protect their private lives as best as possible.” Not much is known, but she posted some couple photos of the two of them on Valentine’s Day.
