The North Americans lost their last group game on Monday, losing 1-0 in the extra end to Italy 7-8. The winner of Pyeongchang thus missed the semi-finals.
Canada’s successor could be Italy. Stefania Constantini and Amos Mosaner celebrated an 8-1 triumph against Sweden in the semifinals and remained unbeaten in their tenth tournament game. Opponent on Tuesday (13.05/20.05) is Norway.
Kristin Skaslien and Magnus Nedregotten beat Great Britain 6:5 in the hard-fought second semi-final.
