TikTok star Olivia Dunne has totally freaked out American teenagers.

The 20-year-old university gymnast has gathered a huge following on social media and earned a huge amount of money with her social media content, when university athletes were allowed to earn income under their own name starting in 2021.

Already at the age of 18, Dunne became a millionaire.

Huge popularity, however, brings unpleasant side effects. The events of Dunne’s University of Louisiana gymnastics team are swarmed with teenage boys chasing their crushes. The going sometimes becomes inappropriate.

Duplantis upset

The University of Louisiana is also a pole vault star by Armand Duplantis former degree program. The Swede was born and went to school in the United States.

Duplantis, 23, finds the hustle and bustle of teenage boys downright crazy.

– Those young men are completely crazy. I don’t think anyone has ever experienced anything like that, he loads Expressen’s in the interview.

According to Duplantis, during his university years he was not chased nearly as much as Dunne.

The Olympic champion doesn’t like the cross-pressure of social media athletes have to navigate these days.

– I understand that it’s important to market yourself, but no one wants it to cover up what you actually do (play sports). It’s not that difficult for men, but the situation is completely different for women, says Duplantis.

– It feels bad that women have to balance between the two worlds. I think they would just like to focus on the sport and be as good as they can. At the same time, they certainly want to have a career for themselves, and nowadays they might have to do things they wouldn’t want to do.
