Zelenski visits Pope Leo XIV in holiday home Castel Ganolfo
Zelenski visited Pope Leo XIV on Wednesday afternoon, July 9. The meeting took place in Castel Gandolfo, the summer residence of the pope, where he is currently on vacation for two weeks. According to a statement from the Vatican, the two spoke about “the persistent conflict and the urgent necessity of a just and lasting peace.”
