A few safety measures are taken on the beach. Part of the beach is concluded with fences, yard nets and markers with buoys. Information panels and warning signs will also be built around the site zone. The beach between Blankenberge and Zeebrugge remains accessible for walkers and athletes. On the dunes side a corridor is equipped with approximately 5 meters wide. The Saint-Georges walk also remains accessible.
