There were claims that Victor Osimhen, who scored two goals in the Nigerian National Team’s 4-0 win over Mozambique in the quarter-finals of the African Cup of Nations, but had tension with Ademola Lookman, would return to Türkiye.
It was shared that Osimhen, who had an argument with his teammate Lookman on the field, left the locker room early after the match, sat alone in the team bus, wanted his accreditation to be canceled and threatened to return to Türkiye.

Following these allegations, the Nigerian Football Federation denied the claim that Victor Osimhen would leave the camp.
