Ski star Marco Odermatt achieved his fourth win of the season and a new record.

The 27-year-old won the giant slalom in Alta Badia and is now the Swiss with the most successes in the Alpine World Cup. For the 41st time in his career, Odermatt was at the top of the podium; second in this Swiss ranking is Pirmin Zurbriggen (40).

Odermatt fought his way from third to first place in Alta Badia in the second round. Second place went to the Frenchman Leo Anguenot ahead of Alexander Steen Olsen from Norway.

Anton Grammel was the only German to score points and achieved the best World Cup result of his career to date with eleventh place.
