THEformer US president Barack Obama met with students from Burke Elementary at the Chicago Public Library. He read some Christmas stories with them and talking about the Obama Presidential Center, the cultural complex that will open next year with a museum, archive, civic center and a new branch of the public library. The project will offer spaces and educational programs to the South Side community, strengthening the connection between culture and territory. «I enjoyed reading books with some students from Burke Elementary School at the Chicago Public Library today – he wrote on his social media channels – when the Obama Presidential Center opens next year, we will have a new branch of the library that the community will be able to enjoy».
