Oasis can look forward to a record according to your homecoming concert. On July 11th. The reunited Oasis played their first of several Manchester concerts. Of course, that was more than a concert, but a real nostalgia spectacle. After all, Manchester is the hometown of the Brit-Legend.

Recommendations of the editorial team
80,000 spectators: inside flocked to the first Manchester concert of the Gallaghers. A total of 400,000 spectators will be expected in Heaton Park by July 20. Reunion: Caupt.
Oasi’s record: The largest screens of Great Britain
Technically, the comeback set new standards: the LED screens on the stage in Manchester measure 84 x 12 meters-that is 20 meters more than at the tour in Cardiff. There was no concert screen in the UK. Record for the Gallaghers!
Oasis in the charts
Oasis not only celebrate their live comeback in Manchester, but also an impressive chart revival: with three albums at the same time in the top 5 of the official British album charts, the Britpop icons are as present as they have been in years. The single compilation “Time Flies … 1994–2009” rose to 1st place for the first time since its publication in 2010, the classic “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?” From 1995, twelve places climbed to second place, and the debut album “Definitely Maybe” (1994) scored 22 places up to 4th place.
Oasis are also back in the UK single charts. The B-page “Acquiesce”-originally part of the first number 1 single “Some Might Say” (1995)-reached 17th place after it had newly rose in 40th place last week. Also represented in the top 20: “Don’t look back in Anger” (1996) in 18th place and “Live Forever” (1994) in 19th place.
