Continuing its search to strengthen its squad during the interim transfer period, Trabzonspor transferred Nigerian defender Chibuike Nwaiwu, who plays for the Austrian team Wolfsberger, for 5.5 million Euros.
The 22-year-old football player, who came to Trabzon and joined the team, answered the questions of the press members.
Nigerian defender, “Trabzonspor is a club that can open doors for me for my future and goals. That’s why I chose Trabzonspor. There are very good center forwards in the league, but my part is to focus and fulfill my coach’s instructions.” he said.
Nwaiwu said that he sees Paul onuachu as a brother. “We had a conversation with him before he came, he said very nice things about the club and the city. Therefore, he has an impact on my development. I would like to thank him too.” he said.
