Nvidia boss Jensen Huang contradicts the AI warnings from Anthropic: AI would not destroy jobs, but would change the world of work.

• Amodeis workplace forecast is too dark
• AI would change jobs, but not to destroy it in a manner
The discussion about the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) on the labor market is becoming increasingly heated. While Dario Amodei, CEO of the AI company Anthropic, warns in an interview with Axios that AI could replace up to half of all entry-level office jobs in the next one to five years, Nvidia boss Jensen Huang dismisses of this prognosis.
Nvidia boss Huang is criticism of Amodeis’s workplace forecast
As part of a press conference at Viva Technology 2025 in Paris, Huang said according to Fortune: “I disagree with almost everything he says.” Huang accuses Amodei of drawing a vision that is too dark – including the idea that AI is so dangerous that only a few companies are allowed to develop it.
“Firstly, he believes that AI is so scary that only she [Anthropic] You should develop, “Huang is quoted by Fortune. Secondly, [glaubt er]that AI is so expensive that nobody else should develop it […] And thirdly, AI is so incredibly powerful that all of their jobs will lose, which explains why they should be the only company that builds AI. ”
Huang admits that professions will change by AI, but that does not necessarily mean masses of workplace. “All jobs will change. Some jobs become obsolete, but many new jobs will be created […] Whenever companies become more productive, they hire more people, “he said at Viva Technology according to Fortune.
Criticism of Anthropic: Huang warns of isolated AI development
Huang sees AI a technological opportunity, provided that it is developed responsibly and openly. A sealed out, exclusive development is dangerous: “If you want things to be made safe and responsible, then you make it open … don’t do it in a dark room and then tell me that it is safe.” His statement clearly aims at the supposed strategy of Anthropic and Amodei, which he openly criticizes.
A spokesman for Anthropic replied to Fortune that Amodei never claimed that only his company could develop safe AI. Rather, he advocates transparency and regulation. Nevertheless, Amodeis’s core message remains: Ki carries existential risks and without political countermeasures, many jobs could be in danger.
Nvidia is investing in AI infrastructure and quantum computing in Europe
Apart from the debate about AI and Jobs, Huang also used the stage in Paris to present Nvidia’s European expansion plans. The group works on over 20 AI data centers in Europe and wants to strengthen research and start-ups. In addition, NVIDIA is increasingly relating to quantum computing – with the platform CUDA -Q, which combines hybrid systems from classic and quantum processors. Huang spoke of a technological “turning point” that could soon solve real economic and scientific problems.
While voices such as Amodei warn of a great job loss, Huang advocates an open, innovation -driven approach. The future of the work is shaped by AI – how exactly it remains to be seen.
