Ex-BVB coach with restart in Turkey?

The Istanbul club Başakşehir separates from his coach. A former Bundesliga coach is now under discussion.
The former coach of Borussia Dortmund, Nuri Şahin, apparently negotiates with the Istanbul top club Başakşehir FK about an engagement as a coach. Talks to this have started, the Turkish sports newspaper “Fanatik” reported.
Previously, the club announced on Monday morning on platform X that the cooperation with the previous coach Çağdaş Atan ended in mutual agreement. Başakşehir did not give reasons for the decision.
Atan had taken over the office in the summer of 2023. Under his leadership, however, the team slipped to Süper Lig in 13th place in the current season.
