CD&V argues for stricter rules for electric steps. In this way the party wants to oblige a license plate and lower the maximum speed. The proposal comes after recent figures from the VIAS traffic institute, which show that the number of electric steps accidents in the first three months of this year increased by 62 percent compared to the same period last year.
