Due to a technical malfunction, the NS has been experiencing major problems since the beginning of Sunday afternoon. The NS trains will not run until at least five o’clock on Sunday afternoon. The NS advises people to postpone their train journey with the NS. “Or if you’re on the road, look for other travel options.” According to the NS, the travel advice in the travel planner does not contain any delays or canceled trains.
The NS cannot provide any information at the stations either.
“We are working hard on the recovery, but unfortunately it is not yet possible to say how long this situation will last,” a spokesperson said.
Regional carriers
The trains do run on the routes of regional carriers, although no current travel information can be given.
