Finland has promised a stupid heat today on Wednesday. Helle is awkward when the temperature is 27 or more.
Today, the heat of the heat has been promised in Helsinki, Tampere, Jyväskylä, Imatra, Kuopio, Vaasa, Rovaniemi and Kittilä.
What to eat in the heat to keep you feel good? Nutritionist Linda Tigerstedt tells you.
“It’s a good idea to focus on eating food that contains water, such as fresh fruits, vegetables, watermelon, strawberries, cucumber, tomato and berries,” Tigerstedt says.
On a warm day, it is advisable to eat more often, but lower doses than usual for digestion to function as efficiently as possible.
– I recommend eating light food, vegetables and fruits. However, protein must also be eaten, even if it is a warm day. Instead of a barbecue sausage, you can grill chicken or add beans or chickpeas to the salad, Tigerstedt recommends.
What kind of dishes should not be eaten in the heat?
– Heavy, processed foods that melt more slowly can increase the body’s heat load, which you do not want when it is warm anyway.
The nutritionist recommends avoiding greasy and salty food during the summer heat.

Smaller doses
In the heat, many may experience a reduction in appetite. Tigerstedt says it’s worth eating as much as you would normally eat.
– It may be due to the fact that the Grelin Hormone, or hormone hormone, is slightly dimmed. If you do a little less than usual, it’s okay.
– If you have been used to eating three main meals a day in the past, you might think about eating up to four or five times a little smaller. It makes it easier to overheat body, Tigerstedt says.
Drinking alcohol and caffeine -rich drinks can dry the body and should be avoided in the heat.
– Lying is really important. Remember to drink enough water for the whole day, even if you are not thirsty. Two liters a day is pretty good. If you still have a thirst, it may be a sign that you need even more electrolytes.
For additional alarm, a nutritionist recommends Vichy, coconut water or electrolyte powder.
