Novak Djokovic stormed to the Wimbledon final – Can make history

Serbian star Novak Djokovic defeated Italy in the Wimbledon men’s singles semi-finals Jannik Sinner straight in three sets (6–3, 6–4, 7–6).

It is the eight finals of the 36-year-old Djokovic’s career at Wimbledon. He won no less than seven of these.

By winning this year’s tournament, Djokovic would move up to number one on the all-time wins list Roger Federer’s with. The Swiss legend won Wimbledon eight times.

Djokovic’s final opponent will be decided in Friday’s second semifinal match, where they will face the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz and Russian Daniil Medvedev.

The men’s final will be played on Sunday. The women’s singles final will be played on Saturday, where the match will be played Ons Jabeur and Marketa Vondrousova.
