Novak Djokovic won the ATP Finals tournament for the seventh time. In Sunday’s final in Serbia, they defeated Italy Jannik Sinner in two sets (6–3 and 6–3).

With that, Djokovic became the all-time number one on the ATP Finals championship list. Only Roger Federer had been able to win that tournament six times.

The eight best players in the world rankings participate in the ATP Finals every year.

Djokovic won no fewer than seven ATP tournaments this season, one more than Spain Carlos Alcaraz.

Djokovic’s place in the final of the ATP Finals became clear with the victory over Alcaraz.

– This is a very special moment. The season has been one of the best in my career.

– I am really proud of playing against both Alcaraz and Sinner. They are maybe the two best in the world right now with me, Djokovic said Eurosport in the interview.

Djokovic also holds the record for winning Grand Slam tournaments with no less than 24 championships.
