Harry Kane not only has many admirers in England and Germany. The Bayern striker is also a star in Scandinavia. A Norwegian band even even wrote a song about him.
Harry Kane keeps his family and private life for himself as far as possible. Accordingly, it is only roughly known what music the striker of FC Bayern Munich hears. Before the 2024 European Football Championship, he at least revealed that he liked Burna Boy, Ed Sheeran or Adele- more popular and radio music.
An even more unknown music group could soon be added to this list – Oslo Oscillator. Because: The Norwegian pop band devoted his own song to the striker of FC Bayern. This means – not surprising – “Harry Kane” and officially appears as a single on Friday.
Musically interested can get a foretaste of the band’s profile on the “Soundcloud” Internet platform and on Instagram. In a hymn chorus, the band from the Norwegian capital sings the captain of the English national team, which currently leads the Bundesliga goalkeeper list with 21 goals.
The song also called moderator Arnd Zeigler on the scene, whose second great passion – in addition to football – is the music. In his show “Zehler’s wonderful world of football” in the WDR, he presented the song on Sunday evening and since there was still no official music video, he made a remedy in this regard.
“It has become a wonderful song. There is no music video yet, so we have built one – with younger pictures by Harry Kane and with pictures by Oslo Oscillator,” said the stadium spokesman for Werder Bremen.
According to Zeigler, Oslo Oscillator are great of Kane’s previous club Tottenham Hotspur and since they were still worshiping it, they would have written the song. Among other things, this says: “Harry Kane is a legend of the lane” (German: “Harry Kane is a legend of the ‘Lane’.”)-Apparently a reminiscence of Kanes in the long-time Tottenham Stadium on White Hart Lane that was demolished in 2017.
The only question remains whether Oslo Oscillator with the song also meet Kanes’s taste.
