North Korea threatens ‘more decisive’ response if new sanctions are imposed – RBC

North Korea intends to give a more “strong” response if new sanctions are imposed against it due to weapons testing. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, transmits Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

“We will not give up our legal rights. If the United States enters into such a confrontation, we will have to respond more decisively and clearly, ”the message says.

The DPRK assured that the weapon being developed is not aimed at a specific state and does not pose a threat to neighboring countries, but is the modernization of the army. According to the North Korean Foreign Ministry, the United States is deliberately “escalating the situation” by imposing unilateral sanctions. “This is a clear provocation <...> by the United States to question our legitimate actions in self-defense,” the DPRK Foreign Ministry concluded.
