The wind turbine manufacturer Nordex has received three new orders in the USA with a total volume of 484 megawatts (MW).

One order includes 32 N133/4.8 turbines with a total output of around 154 MW. The two other orders for Nordex relate to 56 N163/5.X turbines with a total volume of around 350 MW. The names of the three customers and the projects are not disclosed.

Jefferies leaves Nordex at ‘Buy’ – target 57 euros

The analysis company Jefferies has left Nordex’s rating at “Buy” with a price target of 57 euros due to the US orders totaling 484 megawatts. Constantin Hesse emphasized that he normally does not comment on individual orders. The wind turbine manufacturer’s current announcement sends a positive signal about entering the US market, he wrote on Monday. He now sees potential beyond the previous year’s level of order intake.

On XETRA, the Nordex share temporarily rose 2.31 percent to 48.82 euros.
