The wind power plant manufacturer Nordex has received an order to supply and commission the turbines for a wind farm in Canada.
The Spanish energy group Acciona Energía has ordered 49 N155/5.X turbines, as announced by Nordex. The “Forty Mile” wind farm in Alberta was developed by Renewable Energy Systems Canada and, when completed in the first quarter of 2025, will be Acciona Energía’s largest wind farm in North America with almost 280 megawatts of installed capacity.
Nordex papers temporarily rose by 3.08 percent to EUR 11.05 in XETRA trading.
