Nooralotta Neziri Get aside from the 100m fence run for the Athletics World Championships in Tokyo. The Finnish Sports Association says in a news release.
Neziri accidentally injured his knee in a barn training exercise on Monday in Chiba, Japan, where part of the Finnish team has been preparing for the World Cup. After the accident, the foot was investigated in Japan.
For Nezir, missing the World Cup is a big disappointment. Neziri has been in the best shape of his career during the summer competition. He has run twice his record, which is now 12.73 at the Kaleva Games in Espoo.
“A really hard blow, because based on the exercises, I was ready to run records,” Neziri said.
The Finnish team’s deputy athlete for 100 meters is Reetta Hurske.
The other two instant brains of the Finnish team are Lotta Harala and Saara Keskitalo.
