In Cubelles, a municipality in the Spanish province of Barcelona, two people were missing after the heavy rainfall that ravaged the area on Saturday evening. “According to the first information, they would have been carried by the River Foix,” which flows into the Mediterranean Sea, the fire brigade reports on X.
Train traffic throughout Catalonia – both high -speed trains and regional and local lines – stopped for hours. More than 70 people received help from the emergency services, although nobody was seriously injured. The red warning was lifted after two hours.
