Noel Gallagher once again realized the track together with his High Flying Birds.
Noel Gallagher has released the demo for “In A Little While” just in time for the New Year. He performs the melancholic and hopeful song using only the acoustic guitar.
The chorus says: “They say it’s over, well I don’t believe it / They tell me it’s gone but that can’t be true / And if it’s lost, / well I’m gonna find it / Turn me a page , let’s start anew.” So in German: They say it’s over, but I don’t believe it / They tell me it’s gone, but that can’t be true / And if it’s lost, then I’ll find it / Turn the tide for me, let’s start again.
To coincide with the demo release, Gallagher also shared a visual for the song via YouTube. In this you can see a slowly setting, red-hot sun.

The track is well received on social media
Fans of the former Oasis member have so far had rather positive comments about the song in the social media comment columns. “You surprise more every day,” one person commented on the track’s post on Instagram, while another wrote on YouTube: “He really can’t write a bad song. His demos are better than 99.9% of other people’s finished studio recordings. This is just stunning.”
Always New Year’s Eve
In recent years, Noel Gallagher has also released demo versions of his band’s songs, the High Flying Birds, right on New Year’s Eve. So in 2020 he shared one of “We’re Gonna Get There In The End”. The track later appeared on his current record COUNCIL SKIES. In 2022 he surprised his fans with the demo of “Trying To Find A World That’s Been And Gone: Part 1”.
