Dance teacher Jukka Haapalainen60, received a call from his publicist last week that he had received a letter to MTV. Haapalainen asked that the letter be brought to him Dancing with the stars – program’s studio on Sunday.

Haapalainen received the letter during his break before the last live TTK broadcast of the season. The writer of the letter claims in an angry tone that Haapalainen appeared “horny” in the TV commercial and “raised his leg” to his fellow judge Helena Ahti-Hallbergin double cloth. In the letter, Haapalai is asked to go to the corner and be ashamed of what he did.

– It’s about a very short channel identification clip that played on TV between programs. That’s Helena, Jorma [Uotinen] and I do a bit of jogging. And this person has seen it this way, Haapalainen tells Iltalehte with a little laugh.

Haapalainen has not previously received similar feedback about the ad. He treats the letter with humor.

– This person didn’t say who he is, so it’s nice to shout like that, he says.

Haapalainen says that he read the letter out loud to almost the entire TTK team before the broadcast.

– We laughed there in the dressing room. It’s stupid that someone has time for that and tells me to be ashamed in a corner.

On Monday, Haapalainen shared the letter on his Instagram account. Haapalainen noticed that many of his social media followers were offended by the letter on his behalf.

– On the other hand, it’s really nice. Nobody should get that. After all, we work in that clip, that is, if you see something like that in it [kuin kirjeessä kuvataan]so you have to be on your toes, he reflects.

Haapalainen wants to remind the sender of the letter about the inappropriate language used in the letter.

– It’s nice to receive feedback, but it would be worthwhile to say it with your own face and name when a public figure approaches. We are, as it were, the game of the nation.

Haapalainen has intervened in hate speech during the TTK season as well. In September, Haapalainen said on the broadcast that he noticed to his sadness that the star students of the program had received rude comments on social media.

– Hate speech has generally increased in this world and in this time in which we live. I wish that, especially with such a wonderful and positive program, it wouldn’t be there, but people could be positive, loving and kind to each other, Haapalainen rumbled from behind the judge’s table at the time.
