The 17-year-old Gijs is a big fan of PSV and does not miss a single match of ‘his’ club. But the boy is also hard of hearing and has lung problems, so that he sleeps every night with extra oxygen. His favorite player, Noa Lang, therefore surprised Gijs to give him the day of his life.
Because of his lung problems, Gijs often has to stay in the hospital for a long time and he sleeps with extra oxygen every night. Football is the highlight of his life, in particular PSV. Gijs does not miss a single match of the club.
The club therefore decided to surprise him. Gijs was lured to the stadium with an excuse with his parents. There he was asked to record a video message to encourage PSV. But what the boy did not know is that his bonus mother had already sent a letter in which she told that Gijs was a huge fan of Lang. And so, while Gijs started telling what to tell in front of the camera, Noa came to surprise him for a long time. That can be seen in a video that Eredivisie has made over the day.
