No visits for prisoners on Wednesday: guards take action

The guards thus join the protest of other federal officials. They do not accept that a preliminary agreement concluded with Minister De Sutter has just been swept off the table by the government. As a result, a promised wage increase has been postponed.

The unions threaten weekly strikes on Wednesdays for an indefinite period.
