Last December it was announced that Carlo, Irene and RTL boss Peter van der Vorst had already talked about a possible morning show on Sunday. “Carlo is still very busy with a lot of other programs so we haven’t talked about it in a long time. So there is nothing concrete yet,” says Irene.
Not planning off the table
That does not mean that the plans are completely off the table: “Never say never. I still like it and Carlo too, but then we just have to make it something concrete for once.” They would prefer a program between 10:00 and 12:00. “Not too early, and then you can enjoy your Sunday afterwards. Nice cycling and on the farm. Yes, I like it,” said Irene.
Programs Carlo and Irene
The duo already has several successful programs to their name. In the 1990s they were on television with Telekids and on Sunday afternoon became years Life & Cooking and Life4You broadcast. The TV Kantine stopped last year after twelve seasons.
