Oops, oops, oops: defeat after defeat for poor André Hazes jr. Emptying all employment agencies in the region to recruit votes for the Televizier, he is not even in the provisional top ten!
The universe is not in a good mood for André Hazes jr. He has been making frantic efforts for months to sell out his Ahoy concert in November – unsuccessfully – and now he is not included in the standings of the Televizier election either. And that while he has hired an entire army of recruiters to get people to vote for him.
Recruiters on the mat?
Anyone who thought that André is finally rid of his notorious delusions of grandeur is wrong: the folk singer sincerely thinks that the documentary series about all his addictions and struggles worth the Golden Televizier Ring. It is very important to him to put that thing on his finger, so he now even uses all kinds of voice recruiters during his performances.
Do those recruiters now have to come to André? They have not succeeded in getting his documentary Crossroads into the provisional top ten of the Televizier election. It can be nominated in the category ‘online video series’ and even vlogs such as those of Monica Geuze and Enzo Knol have managed to make it into the standings.
Evert sympathizes
Private boss Evert Santegoeds sympathizes with André. “Andre Hazes is not among them. That is striking, because it had done quite a bit of advertising. That doesn’t mean everything. If he advertises his Videoland series even more, people might still vote for him and he will be on the next list,” he says in Shownieuws.
Colleague Tooske Ragas villainous: “But those PR promotion teams he hired haven’t worked yet?”
Evert: “They have not yet borne fruit.”
