Artiste Arttu Wiskari41, has dyed her hair for the first time ever. Wiskar has The Voice of Finland – at the press conference of the program, hair dyed platinum blonde, pulled back.

– I think this is funny. When you feel good and feel well, you can increase your self-confidence by dyeing your hair, Wiskari tells Iltalehti about her change in appearance.

– We always have to bring something new and surprising to the singers to The Voice of Finland, he says.

Wiskari has received praise from the production for his new hairstyle, but also playful jokes from his friends.

– The gang fucks that I look like a cotton swab. But it’s kind of brotherly fun. I was also asked if I had the oldify filter on, which makes me look older, the singer laughs.

“Should be criminalized”

Wiskari recently received comments on social media criticizing his appearance. One comment claimed that Wiskar had gained weight.

The appearance comments mostly evoke sad thoughts in Wiskar that this kind of thing is still happening.

– What makes this sad is that nobody has any vision of how this can be controlled. This can be talked about, whined about, made news and talked about, but no one does anything about it. It’s unbelievable, Wiskari says firmly.

– Not all of them [törkykommentit] can tell about bad home upbringing or jealousy. They also show that today we have a distorted image of what can and cannot be said. It needs to be tackled at a higher level – it doesn’t help to be lazy, he continues.

Wiskari also reminds that the nasty comments aimed at him are not only aimed at him.

– I have reached middle age and have seen enough that I can handle more things than, for example, someone young. The consequences can be brutal if nasty comments start coming. Mental health problems can be at both ends.

Wiskari has noticed that there is no point in even responding to rude commenters. In the artist’s opinion, the government should intervene in social media commenting.

– Women in particular are subjected to an awful lot of appearance criticism, which fulfills the signs of a crime. It should be criminalized. You can’t shout any claims about politicians, for example, the singer states.

– It is unbelievable how we have ended up in this situation. But just writing entertainment news doesn’t help anything, he adds.

In Wiskar’s opinion, the Police Board should also make a statement that social media commenting will be dealt with immediately.

– Yes, we have seen in the news that seat belts and speeding are being worn this year. At what point do we limit what can be done on the internet? the artist challenges.

In the summer, Iltalehti reported on the police department’s new instruction that the police will no longer look past any kind of speeding.
