Paul Gheysens and Ghelamco are appealing against the ruling of the Bruges court on the sale of a second golf course in Knokke. According to Gheysens, the court agreed with the opposing party on the interpretation of one facet.
“All other arguments developed by the opposing party, such as coercion, deception, violence, error, were rejected by the court as unfounded,” Gheysens responds in a press release.
Gheysens therefore believes that he has particularly strong arguments, both factually and legally, regarding the legal validity and implementation of the agreement with the neighbor; and immediately files an appeal.
“In parallel, we are also looking at other full-fledged options. The neighbor’s reactions are therefore very premature,” it said.
