The Board of Directors of Spoorwegmaatschappij NMBS has confirmed the choice for the Spanish train manufacturer CAF as the preferred bidder for the delivery of new train sets. It is a contract with a value of 1.7 billion euros, good for 180 trains and at least 54,000 seats. The French Alstom, which builds trains in Bruges, is missing a mega teal.
