According to various rumours, game developer Nintendo would like to host the next Direct presentation as early as February. Long-awaited titles like Mario Kart 9 or Breath of the Wild 2 could be the themes.

At the beginning of the week, leaker Samus Hunter mentioned that a new edition of Nintendo Direct will be broadcast in February. Because big titles like the successor to “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” have been announced for this year, fans are eagerly awaiting new information.

In addition to leaker Samus Hunter, who has already made a name for himself as a reliable source, leaker Zippo also confirms that the video game giant has a lot to report. Mario Kart 9 is said to be in the starting blocks.

Is Maio Kart 8 still selling too well?

Although it has been almost eight years since Mario Kart 8 was released for the Wii U, the deluxe version for the Switch is still selling at best-seller levels. Therefore, fans should not expect a release this year.

Among other things, Samus Hunter is fueling the rumor mill about the release of a new Xenoblade title. Monolith Soft has already progressed with the development of the third part of the Xenoblade Chronicles series.

Breath of the Wild 2 on schedule

The release of a new Zelda title is also officially scheduled for 2022. The Nintendo quarterly report from February 3rd shows that the schedule should be met.

Presentations in February are not uncommon at Nintendo. In recent years, the Japanese developer has regularly reported on upcoming games and provided new information in the first quarter.
