Who could qualify for the semi-finals in the sixth broadcast? Who stumbled? Who grabbed the direct final ticket on the Endless Ladder to Heaven? sport.de provides the answers!

  • The showdown at the Endless Ladder to Heaven

Eric Zekina (01:52.66) was the fastest to overcome the obstacles on the course. In addition to the 32-year-old, Dominique Karlin (01:55.96), Lukas Homann (01:56.68) and Benjamin Grams (02:06.79) also took part in the Endless Ladder to Heaven.

For Zekina it was time for work on the 18th of a total of 30 rungs. Grams moved up five rungs. Karlin (31.41 seconds) and Homann (28.22 seconds), however, were able to finish. The latter grabbed the direct final ticket due to the better time.

“It was fun, but in the end it was a drag,” said surprise day winner Homann, describing his premiere appearance on the Endless Ladder to Heaven on the RTL microphone.

  • Strong women, co-favorite eliminated

In the last preliminary round show, three athletes stood out as finishers: Madleen Zirnsak (03:33.89), Melanie Schmitt (03:52.52) and Tatjana Holz (06:59.05). The trio deserves to be in the semi-finals.

Oliver Edelmann, on the other hand, had a bad day. A mistake on the glasses path was fatal to the Last Man Standing of 2016. The time was therefore stopped at this point. The fact that Edelmann buzzed at the end no longer counted.

After an anxious wait, it was clear in the end: the co-favorite was narrowly eliminated in 15th place. The semi-finals will take place without Edelmann.

  • The obstacles in the Ninja Warrior course

In the sixth preliminary round show of Ninja Warrior Germany, the course started with the five jump 2.0 and the bike with trunk slide. Afterwards, the participants had to continue the ring hunt to the regular roles. Anyone who was able to master the swing arm (bungee) and the glasses path finally had the choice between the wall and the mega wall as usual.

At the end of the preliminary round show, the four best ninjas dueled on the endless ladder to heaven for the day’s victory. There were 13 finishers in the fifth broadcast.

In addition to Lukas Homann, who has already secured his ticket to the final, Eric Zekina, Dominique Karlin, Benjamin Grams, Roman Schirillef, Alexander Hille, Andreas Wöhle, Jonas Elting, Madleen Zirnsak, Melanie Schmitt, Niklas Pütz, Moritz Schnippe and Tatjana Holz all made it Finishers in the semi-finals.

As always, a lot of excitement is guaranteed in the next round of Ninja Warrior Germany.
