Nikkie de Jager did not want his own talk show: ‘We already have enough’

Nikkie de Jager, also known as NikkieTutorials, will have her own Saturday evening show on RTL 4. After her presentation job at the Eurovision Song Contest, the beauty vlogger’s phone was red hot, she says on the talk show Jinek. Still, after all her successes, it was time to think for the Udense what she still wants in her career.

Career opportunities ran out just after the Eurovision Song Contest for Nikkie de Jager, who shone on an international stage as one of the four presenters. For example, she received a request for a talk show, but according to the make-up artist we already have enough in our country.

“I was invited to everyone: in the garden, in the office, everywhere,” said De Jager. She was always asked the same question: what does she want to present. “That’s bad, because I didn’t know that. You’ll have a nice lunch then, if you don’t know what you want,” she laughed.

‘We really have enough’
De Jager was in a sort of luxury position: she could choose from anything. “A talk show. But then I thought: we really have enough. But I could make the world as big as I wanted it to be.”

It therefore took some time for the beauty vlogger to think about what she still wanted to do. “I have achieved all my big dreams,” she says in Jinek.

Yet there is a new high point for Nikkie. She can be seen Saturday night in a one-off entertainment show.

‘The only real’
In the show ‘The only real’ Dutch celebrities step outside their comfort zone and take the stage in disguise together with unrecognizable professionals. It is up to the panel to guess who the celebrity is. As a presenter, De Jager has an important role to steer the show in the right direction.

In addition, it is a great honor for her that she presents on Saturday evening on the national channel RTL 4. The Saturday evening episode is the only one for the time being, but we don’t have to miss the Udense for long. For example, next week she can be seen as a panel member in the program Make up your Mind, in which famous Dutch people are transformed into drag queens.
